One pound Glass Compound is enough to recondition several windshields. Use with Glass Polishing Wheel (40011 A). First mark the damaged area, mix the Glass Polishing Compound with water, attach the Glass Polishing Buff to your drill or low-speed polisher (1500 rpm), dab on the Compound and keep the wheel moving and wet. The Pro Kit (40011) includes: Special Glass Polishing Wheel (2 1/2" diameter x 1" thick), 1/4" adapter (for use with your electric drill), One pound of Glass Polishing Compound, and instructions. This Glass Polishing Wheel is used with the Pro Glass Polishing Compound (40011B) to remove the windshiled wiper haze typical of older vehicles. Not for the removal of deeper scratches. Try this simple test: Run your fingernail over the damaged area on the windshield. If your nail does not get caught on the scratch, then your windshield can be renewed using this wheel with compound.
